Rebellion (alpha1) controlling the Native Instruments Komplete Kontrol S61 MK2 - switching instances.
#Maschine library missing software#
Software instance by connecting to NIHA/NIHIA and takes over the supported Rebellion tries to masquerades itself as Maschine2 or Komplete Kontrol The Native Instruments software ecosystem can't be used anymore. To access the devices directly via USB - but when NIHA/NIHIA are stopped, Other existing solutions are using the MIDI API or stop NIHA/NIHIA Hardware Agent/Native Instruments Host Integration Agent "services"). The Maschine and Komplete Kontrol software to NIHA/NIHIA (the Native Instruments Protocol which is used by Native Instruments itself when passing data between Rebellion tries to break these limitations by adopting a proprietary IPC MIDI without any additional software but that's limited. Of course it isĬurrently possible without Rebellion to access some of the functions via Outside the Komplete Kontrol or Maschine software. Rebellion is an ongoing project which lets you use Native InstrumentsÄevices (such as a Maschine MK3 or the Komplete Kontrol MK2 keyboards) It will be instable and slow as hell! General info Creativity level is dropping. Please keep in mind, that this is the second alpha version. It's worth noting that I keep all of my files in a folder named TOOLS on my desktop. Is this normal? If its moving them, where is it moving them to? Making a duplicate location? It looks like its scanning and moving sounds and samples. After that runtime error I opened it back up and it's been scanning for the last 20 minutes. I had it setup to not scan on each opening.

So I closed and opened and tried to do another rescan but got a runtime error. I did a rescan on both, exited out of Maschine, opened it back up and it was back to default.

Well tonight I fired Maschine up and everything was in its right place, just wouldn't work. Updated via Service Center but never took it for a spin.

I dropped the reg for the MK1 and used the serial for the MK2. I was using my MK2 with the MK1 licensed software and had all my samples and libraries locked and legit. Not to hijack this thread, but I'm having a similar problem of sorts.
